Collect multiple copies
Turn on capture mode and every ⌘C adds to the current group — names, links, prices, quotes. Turn it off and copying works exactly as normal.
CopyDown is a small menu-bar app for Mac that collects what you copy — text and screenshots — into groups or tables, so you can paste it all at once into a document, an email, a chat or a spreadsheet.
For macOS 14 Sonoma or later · Apple silicon and Intel

Copy as usual with ⌘C — each copy joins your group.
Press ⌥⌘V to copy the whole group.
Paste it anywhere with ⌘V.
CopyDown lives in your menu bar and stays out of the way until you need it.
Turn on capture mode and every ⌘C adds to the current group — names, links, prices, quotes. Turn it off and copying works exactly as normal.
Keep separate collections for separate tasks and switch with ⌥⌘1–9. Everything is saved automatically, even across restarts.
Press ⌥⌘S and drag over any part of the screen. The screenshot joins the group — nothing is saved to your Desktop.
Each copy fills the next cell, left to right. Name your columns, then move, swap, edit and clear cells as you go.
Press ⌥⌘↩ right after a copy to jot down why you copied it. Notes paste indented under their item.
Tables paste into Numbers, Excel and Google Sheets as real rows and columns, with an optional header row. Lists paste one item per line.
Every shortcut can be changed or removed in Settings. Optional launch at login and subtle sounds.
No account, no cloud, no tracking. Your collections are stored only on your Mac.
CopyDown uses global keyboard shortcuts, so while it’s running a default shortcut overrides the same shortcut in Finder or the app in front.

CopyDown processes and stores what you collect locally. It contains no networking code, so your copied text, screenshots, notes and tables are never uploaded.
